Called Out In The Dark

Snow Patrol has a new single!

The video was shot by Brett Simon (The Killers, Queens of the Stone Age), choreographed by Noemie Lafrance (Feist) and features Tara Summers (Boston Legal) as the video's director and Jack Davenport (Pirates of the Caribbean) as Snow Patrol's new vocalist.

The EP featuring ‘Called Out in the Dark’ will be released on September 4th and will also include the new album title track ‘Fallen Empires’, ‘I’m Ready’ and ‘My Brothers’, a song that was written for Irish Award winning director Paul Fraser’s film of the same name.

I can't help it... just watched the replay of Motogp QP, I know I said I wanted to be surprised later about his row and position but couldn't get my mind off it. So there it is.

He's in 14th position, 5th row, next to Aoyama and Elias. It pains me to see him start at the back.

I just saw Russell Tovey on Sherlock's new season! Lovely fella, I like him a lot. I wonder how they'd be doing without Aidan on the set? What a stupid question, of course they'd be great... I guess they'd have to work extra hard specially the writers. But that's BBC Three so I better stop.

I thought I should mention that if I had BBC One on my cable I don't think I'll ever switch channels again but that would be lying wouldn't it? Ha-ha! All I want to say is all the shows I've seen in this video look very promising.

Scruffy Vale

Vale looks a bit scruffy... but scruffy is good, I like scruffy not everyone can do this look and still manage to look gorgeous.

As of this writing I still have not looked up his position and row for tomorrow's gp. Not that I don't care it's just that... I want to be surprised!

Rafa on The Late Show

Rafa was on Letterman last August 24! And boy did he looked nice! I particularly love the pants, I often see him in his shorts so this is a very welcome look. It really fits him well, probably by Armani anyway so it has to look good on him.

As usual, he was very humble. It's kind of sickening really but hey that's just the way he is and we all adore and love him for that so... He was promoting his book, an autobiography aptly titled Rafa and shamelessly promoting his racket, Babolat.

We all know that Rafa still stuggles with his English, he's used in answering questions regarding tennis but with Dave asking questions... we'll you'll never know where he'll take the conversation so I was a bit edgy throughout the interview. Why am I always anxious for Rafa? It beats the hell out of me. I swear if you could see me while watching him play on tournaments, you'd laugh. Anyway, Dave was great, he stuck to tennis mostly and Roger Federer. Rafa even made a joke “sometimes it’s better if he’s not here” about Roger. It was so funny and so honest.

Anderson Confusion

I'm a bit confused... a friend from Arizona tells me that Anderson is moving to CBS (I knew it... he'll be following Erica Hill) and yet from what I know... he's not! He's got no business with them other than 60 Minutes. But this friend tells me the teaser is being shown in Arizona already. It's either she's lying or I'm in denial.

Oh, please, let it not happen! Not that I don't want Andy to grow it's just that CBS is unknown in this country, we only have CNN, BBC and Bloomberg. Or, I could be wrong...

This is what I know, come September Andy will be hosting a daytime talk-show on CNN and I have the photo to prove it, this shot among others was taken exactly on my birthday... we are so connected, aren't we?

Anarchy

My mind is finally clear enough to think straight now, I think. So here's my two cent's worth of opinion about the riot in London.

What the hell! Have I been wronged again? I thought the people in London are polite and good mannered? Are you telling me that what we read in the papers and books and what we watched on the TV are all lies?

At first I thought they were all teenagers but the news tells us that the youngest looter is an 11 year old and some looters actually hold a respectable day job. They are not polite at all, aren't day? What's even more disturbing is that they are not stealing because they're hungry, they're looting because they're greedy! Anarchy took over the streets and they all joined, they've all gone mad.

What a pity.

Finally! I found the photo of Marat from Roland Garros! See, I wasn't imagining it!

Anger and Frustrations.

I've been held-up by someone who pretended to be my brother last Wednesday night, on my way to the office, he caught me a few feet away from the building where I work. I've tried to wriggle out of him but I just couldn't so I ended up giving him my money! Imagine that!!! He wouldn't let go of me unless I give him money in the name of God. I think I prefer the riot in London anytime, at least I'd know who the bad guys are unlike these wolves in sheep's clothing, extorting money from me, me, me!!! What really hurts is that I've been victimized by these people who pretended to be brothers not just once or twice and I have given them money because of what if they were telling the truth. Is the word gullible written all over my forehead?! I feel sick of these people! I'd never believe anyone ever again. It's sickening! I want to cry but I can't.

Then my son fell 12 steps down the stairs last night! Yup, the drama is not over yet! Sorry for the exclamations... I really feel like screaming right now!

How and why did he fall, you ask? Well, my daughter pushed him!

*Scream is definitely building up now... any moment now!*

She's twelve, she knew what she was doing and that really hurts the most... I've been working very hard lately, I haven't been there for them... it hurts a lot. What a bad mother I turned out to be. I want to cry but I can't. I'm too angry!

It continues... as if the hold-up and the stair incident were not enough... we almost lost our house last night from FIRE! My husband forgot to turn the stove off, the gas was running, fire and all. He only found out about it when he woke up early this morning! Ang mahal pa naman ng Gasul ngayon!!!

What else is coming? I am so angry! There are so many things that I want to write but it's just too personal. I am holding back... this can't be good. For the mean time... I'll try to cry and pray and hopefully feel better.

Humble Bragging Novak!

I've always hated Novak and I've always loved him. I'm a bit confused myself, really! But after watching him on Jay Leno and Conan... I couldn't wait for his segment to finish! I've never heard of someone humblebragging that much!

I still stand by what I said in the past, it's not just the gluten!

He goes by the name Kili now

I'm still not over Aidan Turner playing Kili! I've always known his a Mitchell and now the rest of the world will know him as Kili.

Looking at what the make-up department has done to him... I'll say he is the hottest dwarf in the history of middle earth. I don't think he's got anyting to complain about.

Having said that...have you seen what they've done to to Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield. He looks creepy.

Martin Freeman as Bilbo... he does not look bad at all!

Awww, not Eva?!

I was hoping they'd cast Eva Green as Irene Adler but no, they chose Jaime Murray instead! I' m a bit disappointed.

She doesn't seem right or maybe her role in Dexter was just so believable that I couldn't think of her as anything else but psycho! :-)

Can't wait to watch Sherlock season 2!

From Being Human to Being Kili!

This is him on the press conference in preparation for the filming of The Hobbit. Took me quite a while to recognize him in this photo! Looks like he's going to transform into a werewolf!

Finally, this is Aidan as Kili. To be honest, I prefer this look, looks like the two photos above had a negotiation and they agreed to meet halfway. Not so bad, indeed!

One good enough reason to watch The Hobbit.
