The race would've been the magical moment I've been waiting for since Rossi moved to Ducati... he started on the fourth row, 12th place... I wasn't expecting him to get past 5th position because of his still-recovering shoulder injury but Rossi was on fire yesterday he reached 2nd position (just a fraction of a second) and then he crashed...
I couldn't believe my eyes at first because when he came crashing down he took Casey Stoner with him! He admitted that it was his fault and...
understandably so because all but one track marshal helped him get on his bike again whilst Rossi was being pampered and pushed away to rejoin the race. Vale eventually finished 5th.
After I got over the fact that Rossi crashed I was cheering Marco Simoncelli, I so wanted him to win... he's my David Ferrer of Motogp, Rafa first then David. Vale first then Simoncelli.
And then to my disappointment... he crashed... where? Turn 1.
Man, yesterday's race was full of surprises! Even Ben Spies crashed, Colin Edward went straight to the gravel...
