Gillian's Graduation

Knowing me... I really had no plans on attending my daughter's graduation but I'm glad I did. I don't want to sound mean it's just that I didn't like to make an effort just to attend an event, I'm so glad my mom decided to come along.

By the way, my daughter graduated top ten in her class.

Tsunami of a Disaster

This past two weeks had been... well... I initially wrote "hell" (in my mind, of course) but just now I decided to change it to busy because what I've gone through the past days are nothing compared to what the Japanese are going through right now.

The devastation is just so vast that it's like watching a scene from a movie, it seems so surreal.

Seven minutes after the quake the tsunami came crashing... there was just not enough time... to run... to get yourself together... to recover from the initial shock of the quake... not enough time to look for your love ones... not enough time to warn everyone about the big waves!

And let's not forget about the Nuclear plant in Fukushima!

It's so reminiscent of the 2004 tsunami but the big difference is that the Japanese people are just so calm and disciplined all the time, the shortest way to describe it is they don't kill each other for food and water! And they all managed to look cute still...










Kidding aside, I wonder who did they call when the earthquake shook them? Who did they call when the waves were about to crush them?

82 million Japanese do not believe in God. Think about it.


As always, my Anderson is in Japan covering the story... and once again I'll be watching the houses reduced to rubles, the lives lost and the pain from it all through his eyes... be careful, Anderson!

I had hopes that he'd win or at least get on the podium but he got in at 7th place, a shabby position but I'm sure he's gathered enough information to make his new girl move the way he wants her to move!

Under the big flooding lights of Losail Circuit, here's a man who doesn't have to race but races anyway out of love. Here's a man puts his life at risk and literally might die every weekend out of sheer madness! He's not doing anything to change the world to become a better place to live but he sure does make my weekend so much fun! Weee....

Of Hopes and Reality

In my heart I know that Vale will have a hard time to make to the podium let alone take first place at the Losail Circuit in Qatar this weekend. His new girl seems to have a mind of her own, she's not very submissive, foolish girl! That's reality.

I still have hopes that Vale will repeat what he did at Welkom, South Africa back in 2004. After all, he is Valentino Rossi. If there's anyone who can work wonders on the race track... it's him!
