He's tall, pale and skinny... No! It's not Vale nor Ben!
Anyway, I loved the movie but I felt like it needed more depth, the characters should have been developed more, specially Bruce's, but then again I ain't no scriptwriter so what do I know?
I know this is a bit odd but while trying to understand the movie and listening to my Mom's stories I kept on thinking and deciding whether Tom Hughes was gorgeous or not... I didn't know what to make of him! He seems to be handsome but sometimes he's not. If only he'd smoke less but then again it's the 70s... wait... need to decide now... he's tall, pale and skinny... oh, who am I kidding? I like him... but maybe not yet... but I should be liking him... what to do... what to do...
I think I should start watching Silk before I decide if he's definitely my type!

Crash and then win!
He took the 125cc championship away from Nico Terol last year, I really taught Nico had it in the bag but Marc suddenly came into the picture and race after race he demolished Terol and Pol Espargaro, really hardworking, this guy! Julian Simon seemed promising too but somehow he couldn't keep up.
Marc Marquez is now in Moto2 class and looks like he's going at it again! I never thought he'd be able to climb his way through 2nd in the overall standing after crashing 3 times in the first half of the season, Marc is proving that he's one force to be reckoned with.
I think he literally learned from crashing! He was probably testing how the bike would react if he did something different and it worked! That's the spirit! Never give up, pick up the pieces and stand up.
I sincerely hope he wins this season!

6th Place
Not a bad result considering the circumstances! But what's more important is that I think I saw Jerry on the garage before the race started at the Laguna Seca! Oh, how I wish it was Jerry!
Can anyone confirm if it was truly him...

Dead at 27!
Amy is dead! Actually, I'm not at all surprised, her substance abuse is just too much for her frail body! I will miss her, I love her songs and the way she dances, if it is a dance at all. I loved her, she was original and her songs are genius.
We all say that she lived her life her way but is it really true, addiction is a disease. Did she want to be an addict? Did she enjoy her life knowing that she's dependent on substance and alcohol? Was she brilliant because she was on drugs? Her being dead is all wrong, she should've live long enough to prove everybody wrong, including me!
Shall we name all the other great musicians who she now joins: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, River Phoenix, Jim Morrison, the list could go on all day!

Here's to Clinging Onto Hope!
I'd still watch you on Sunday morning (my local time) despite my fear that you'd still be struggling with that bike!
It's almost painful to watch you doing your best and still not deliver.
Break-up with her, Vale! It's for the best!

Benedict Cumberbatch joins The Hobbit as Smaug
Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast as the voice of the dragon, Smaug, in The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's forthcoming two-part prequel to his Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Cumberbatch's casting was accidentally leaked by his co-star in the BBC's Sherlock Holmes TV show, Martin Freeman, at the Bafta TV awards last month. Freeman plays the main role of Bilbo Baggins, a homebody hobbit recruited by wizard Gandalf to help a company of dwarves wrest their ancient homeland from a great dragon in JRR Tolkien's 1937 children's tale. The exact role to be taken by Cumberbatch, who plays Holmes to Freeman's Watson, was unknown until yesterday, however. Jackson himself confirmed the casting via his Facebook page following US reports last week. He also unveiled a number of other castings, including Australian comic Barry Humphries as the goblin king and Evangeline Lilly from TV series Lost as an Elf named Tauriel.
Complete details can be found here.

Il Postino
Anyway, the movie was everything I expected it would be - enchanting. Except that if it was up to me, Mario should never have died but I guess poetry is sadness, a lot of things should have been done but weren't. So there's your poetry. I'm talking silly. I know.
One thing is certain though, the movie made me yearn to go to Italy even more. I want to bathe and drench my skin under the Tuscan sun. I want to stand and feel the wind on my face at the edge of a cliff by the Mediterranean sea. I want pick up the earth and throw it in the air. I want to see how the blades of grass sway when the wind blows upon it. I want to stop and look at leaves falling from its branch and cast shadows on the surface of the earth. I want to say ciao to the ants climbing a tree and grasshoppers hopping from leaf to leaf.
And lastly, I want to walk on the thirsty and porous soil of the Tuscan vineyards; bake my skin under the white summer sun; pick grapes and earn my living... hopefully, I save enough to watch Motogp on the Mugello circuit next year, God willing, of course.
Come on... what were you thinking?
I'm talking silly. I know.

Grass Eater
Is this some kind of a message? Are you imitating a goat or this is a coded message that you are aiming to be the GOAT?
I am paranoid. I know.
GOAT you are not but maybe this, sorry Mr. Tumnus!
A Very Objective Blog from Someone Who Isn't Very Objective (when it comes to Rafa)
But what was happening? This was not the Rafa I watched against Murray the other day? Nole has no business beating Rafa on the slams.
Was it really just the gluten, Nole?
But after two games on the 2nd set I was convinced Nole sold his soul to the devil or made a pact with him or something.
My chest was tightening and found it hard to breathe so I changed channel a few times just to take my mind off the game for a little while. Rafa was losing. Noooo!
On the third set I found myself fist pumping, ala Masha, along with Rafa. I never fist pumped that much my entire life but if it gets Rafa hyped up, well then, vamooooos! I was so sure Rafa could dig himself out of the hole Nole made for him, Rafa has done it 3 times already in the past but Nole was everywhere, he was, at that moment much like Rafa last year. The ball just kept coming back notwithstanding the angles. I hate Nole! But sometimes I love him, right now I hate him. Gosh, I think I could write the saddest line tonight! Apologies to Pablo Neruda for stealing his lines.
On the 4th set I think I've accepted the fact that Rafa may not come out of Wimbledon with the trophy but still the image of Nole holding the trophy and Rafa the silver platter still made my jaw dropped. It's unbelievable. I felt like crying. The only thing that consoled me a bit was the way Rafa handled his defeat, really humble, that guy! He also stole the limelight from Novak, inadvertently, of course! He was just being himself, charming and humble and the crowd loved it. So did I.

B-R-U-T-A-L
There's nothing wrong with Andy's game, he's been great since French Open; the problem lies when Rafa waits for him on the other side of the court. There was nothing Andy can do, he just couldn't put away the ball, it keeps coming back to him - topspin and all. Rafa was cold and clinical. He was determined, focused, he was brutal. Really. Rafa pulverized Andy in front of his homecrowd and yet I felt like he was also being gentle with him.
Rafa wasn't fist pumping as much as he would normally when hitting winners, he probably felt sorry for Andy but Rafa had to do what he had to. Not celebrating each point won is just the best he could do to buffer his punch to Andy.
How could Andy win when he committed 35+ unforced errors against Rafa's 7 on the whole match. Now that was precision.
