I think I should mention that my husband has taken a pair of crickets from the fields as a pet. He said he brought it home for my son but after a day he has taken an old aquarium filled it with twigs, stones, coals and earth. I think he's trying to raise a colony (is that what they're called?) of crickets,
I didn't mind at first because I find the noise they make soothing at night, it's like sleeping out in the wild but when they do it in the morning.. such as now... they're driving me nuts! I find it hard to think... gggrrrr.... will post pictures someday!
